We hired DJ Quenton for my daughters recent wedding and cannot say enough wonderful things about both DJQ and the entire experience. Quenton, or DJ Q, is Toast Entertainment’s Head DJ for Washington DC and leads our DMV team. Music has been part of his life since he was a kid with drumsticks in his hands at age three, and that early start grew into a career producing, DJing, and MCing. He has DJed professionally, working hundreds of events across the country before taking over the DC market.
Quenton sets the standard for every Toast DJ in the DMV. He oversees the team, trains new DJs to the same approach he uses at his own events, and stays involved from the first planning call through the music meeting so every couple gets the same level of care, whether their wedding is in a downtown DC ballroom, an Arlington or Bethesda venue, a Baltimore waterfront space, or Northern Virginia wine country. Ask him which genre he is best with and he will tell you all of them. His team adapts to what you want, takes the time to learn the music that has defined your life, and builds the night around it.

Before the wedding, you and your DJ build the soundtrack together, from processional to last dance. The do-not-play list is sacred. On the night, your DJ reads the room and adjusts in real time.

We bring our own sound system, calibrated for your venue and guest count. No house speakers, no borrowed gear. Ceremony sound and wireless mics come at no extra charge, with a full sound check before guests arrive.

Platinum DJ Experience, starting at $1,995. Most Popular. Unlimited DJ and MC service for the entire event, with 10 LED uplights setting the ambiance and the same pro sound, ceremony lapel mic, and sleek, modern façade.
Diamond DJ Combo, starting at $2,995. Unlimited coverage from 30 minutes before the ceremony through midnight, plus an Ultimate Photo Booth all night, dance floor lighting on totems, 10 LED uplights, and an extra ceremony speaker. Over $1,000 in savings.

Venues we know before your date
Your DC venue may be one we know well. Audi Field has open-air decks facing the Capitol. The Mansion at Strathmore has a sculpture garden, and Springfield Manor has lavender fields.
If your venue is not listed, ask us. We have probably been there, and if not, we will learn everything about it.
Washington DC wedding DJ questions
DC's high seasons are October and November and March through May. Those weekends book 8 to 12 months ahead, and October and April go fastest. At Audi Field or Historic Rosemont Manor, secure your DJ as soon as the venue is confirmed.
A DJ plays music. An MC runs your reception. Every Toast DJ is both, so introductions, toasts, and special dances are handled by the same person reading your dance floor. No separate emcee to hire.
Absolutely. Your music plan includes must-plays, genres you love, and a do-not-play list we take seriously. If the Chicken Dance is banned, it stays banned. Your DJ still reads the room, just inside the lines you set.
Yes, at no extra charge. Your vows get speakers, wireless mics and a sound check before guests arrive. That holds on the front lawn at Springfield Manor or among the vineyards at The Crossvines. It holds at Historic Rosemont Manor's ceremony sites too. Diamond adds an extra ceremony speaker.
Toast is a company, not a solo operator. If your assigned DJ can't make it, another trained Toast DJ steps in with your music plan, timeline, and venue details already in hand. You'll never be left without a DJ.
Yes. We cover the full DMV: Arlington, Alexandria, Bethesda, Tysons Corner, Reston, Silver Spring, Rockville, Frederick, Annapolis, and out to Middleburg. Travel up to 30 miles from central Washington DC is included. Farther? Just ask.
Yes. We schedule planning consultations between you and your assigned Toast DJ, so they hear your music vision from you and build the timeline with you. You'll know your DJ before the day.
