The San Antonio Wedding Venues We Love Most
An editorial guide and a data tool from the team that has worked weddings across the Hill Country, in-town San Antonio, and everywhere between. The venues we love, the couples they serve best, and everything we have learned along the way.
San Antonio sits at the doorway to the Hill Country and never lets you forget it. Stone missions and oak-shaded estates inside the 410, vineyard country and chapel-set ranches a half hour up the road. The venues are not interchangeable. These are our favorites.
This is an editorial guide and a data tool, built together. Every venue below is here because we have actually worked there or know it well enough to recommend it confidently. The notes are honest. The pricing guidance is what we have seen firsthand. The capacity numbers come straight from the venues, not from a third party guessing at it.
The venues are organized by the kind of wedding they serve best, not ranked. A Hill Country mission is not better or worse than an in-town estate or a tucked-away garden. They are different. The question is which one is right for you.
Beyond these favorites, we are building out the full San Antonio directory venue by venue. New spoke pages publish weekly. If you do not see one you are considering, our concierge team can research it for you.

Hill Country Beyond the City
Mission chapels, oak-canopied ranches, and industrial-elegant estates twenty to forty minutes north.

Lost Mission
A Spanish-mission chapel that holds 240 with original pews built in 1890, set on 60 acres of Hill Country forty minutes north of San Antonio. The Modern Reception Hall handles 350 with a built-in bar and Hill Country views through the back wall. One wedding per day, on-site catering, and a property that genuinely earns its Knot Hall of Fame badge.

Stoney Creek Venue
Family-owned and built like it. The covered Outdoor Pavilion handles the ceremony, the outdoor bar handles cocktail hour right next door, and the dining and dance hall takes everyone indoors when the night kicks in. On-site lodging means the wedding party can wake up on property, which makes the morning-of timeline a lot more forgiving.

Park 31
Industrial elegance meets old-world charm on 31 acres at the doorway to the Hill Country. A 13,000 square foot building stitches together named spaces like En Gedi Main Hall, Springs Hall, the Madison Bridal Suite, and the Truss 31 Bridge. The handmade arbors, antique doors, and heart-shaped rocks scattered across the property tell you exactly how much intention the owner put into building this place.
In-Town San Antonio
Historic estates, urban gardens, modern barns, and intimate retreats inside the city limits.

The Veranda
The original "castle on the hill," anchored by a 1931 stone estate house and a four-seasons Pavilion with retractable glass doors that pulls 220 seated without ever worrying about a Texas weather flip. Six event spaces, in-house catering from Spice of Life, and a South Lawn ceremony under a grand stone arch. The estate hits like a destination wedding without leaving the 410.

San Antonio Botanical Garden
A 39-acre urban oasis minutes from downtown, with four bookable spaces ranging from the Betty Kelso Center to an outdoor amphitheater. The Lucile Halsell Conservatory's glass houses are the kind of backdrop photographers will dream about for years. Booking here supports the Garden's mission, which is the kind of detail thoughtful couples notice.

Magnolia Halle
Hill Country feel without the drive. 3.3 acres surrounded by 200-year-old oaks, a 3,600 square foot Great Halle with exposed timber framing and reclaimed metal pulled from historic Texas barns. Inside-outside house bar and on-site catering kitchen keep the night running without the typical vendor logistics scramble.

The Gardens at West Green
Small footprint, big in-the-details kind of venue. The whole property is built around an intimate ceremony lawn and a covered reception space, so guests stay close to the action from the first kiss through the last dance. Posted Friday and Saturday rates make this one of the most price-transparent venues in the San Antonio market.
