A trained MC who runs your timeline
Every DJ on Ang 9's roster MCs too. Introductions, toasts and the last dance call all come from the person running your music. Your coordinator keeps time.
Your music plan, must-plays and do-not-plays
Before the wedding, you and your DJ build the soundtrack together, from processional to last dance. The do-not-play list is sacred. On the night, your DJ reads the room and adjusts in real time.
Pro sound, ceremony audio included
We bring our own sound system, calibrated for your venue and guest count. No house speakers, no borrowed gear. Ceremony sound and wireless mics come at no extra charge, with a full sound check before guests arrive.
A backup DJ and backup gear, every event
If a DJ falls ill, a solo act has no plan B. Toast has trained backup DJs on call and a second rig packed for each New Orleans wedding.
Uplighting and custom lighting design are add-ons we'll happily quote. Quinceañeras, LGBTQ+ weddings, multicultural fusions, country weddings: our DJs are trained to honor them and get them right.

Platinum DJ Experience, starting at $1,795. Most Popular. Continuous coverage from 30 minutes before ceremony through midnight, with no time limits and 10 LED uplights setting the ambiance.
Diamond DJ Combo, starting at $2,495. Everything in Platinum, plus an Ultimate Photo Booth with unlimited instant prints, a full digital gallery, and one Signature Touch on the house.
Venues we know before your date
Many New Orleans venues are familiar ground for us. The Audubon Tea Room has a 45-foot ceiling. The Riverview Room has five terraces, and Felicity is an 1888 Gothic Revival church.
If your venue is not listed, ask us. We have probably been there, and if not, we will learn everything about it.
New Orleans wedding DJ questions
Give yourself 8 to 12 months. In New Orleans the peak months are October and November and March through May. October and April weekends fill fastest. Couples at Felicity or the Audubon Tea Room should book a DJ once the venue contract is signed.
A DJ plays music. An MC runs your reception. Every Toast DJ is both, so introductions, toasts, and special dances are handled by the same person reading your dance floor. No separate emcee to hire.
Absolutely. Your music plan includes must-plays, genres you love, and a do-not-play list we take seriously. If the Chicken Dance is banned, it stays banned. Your DJ still reads the room, just inside the lines you set.
Yes, included in every package. We set up speakers and wireless mics in the courtyard at the New Orleans Pharmacy Museum. The open-air courtyard at Maison Dupuy Hotel and the Riverview Room terraces get the same care. We check the sound before guests arrive.
Toast is a company, not a solo operator. If your assigned DJ can't make it, another trained Toast DJ steps in with your music plan, timeline, and venue details already in hand. You'll never be left without a DJ.
Yes. We cover the full Greater New Orleans area and the Northshore: Metairie, Kenner, Mandeville, Covington, and Slidell. Travel up to 30 miles from central New Orleans is included. Farther? Just ask.
Yes. We schedule planning consultations between you and your assigned Toast DJ, so they hear your music vision from you and build the timeline with you. You'll know your DJ before the day.
The New Orleans Essential package includes a DJ who doubles as your MC and premium sound. It also covers ceremony audio with a lapel mic for vows, plus dance floor lighting. Platinum removes the time limit and adds 10 LED uplights.
Toast's New Orleans DJ packages begin at $1,000 for three hours of DJ and MC time. Extra hours are $300 each. Venues in the French Quarter or CBD add a $75 parking fee. Platinum is our most popular package. Every New Orleans price is on the New Orleans rates page.
