What are we actually getting?

What comes with every Toast DJ

Toast wedding MC on the microphone guiding the reception timeline for the couple and their guests

A trained MC who runs your timeline

Your DJ is also your MC. They keep it warm and never cheesy, and they run every announcement from the grand entrance to the last dance. Logistics belong to your coordinator. The room belongs to your DJ.

Your music plan, must-plays and do-not-plays

Before the wedding, you and your DJ build the soundtrack together, from processional to last dance. The do-not-play list is sacred. On the night, your DJ reads the room and adjusts in real time.

Pro sound, ceremony audio included

We bring our own sound system, calibrated for your venue and guest count. No house speakers, no borrowed gear. Ceremony sound and wireless mics come at no extra charge, with a full sound check before guests arrive.

A backup DJ and backup gear, every event

Plenty of Austin DJs book solo. If that one person gets sick, your reception has no plan B. With Toast, there's a backup DJ on call and a second setup in the truck at every event. If something fails, the backup takes over.

Uplighting and custom lighting design are add-ons we'll happily quote. Quinceañeras, LGBTQ+ weddings, multicultural fusions, country weddings: our DJs are trained to honor them and get them right.

What does it cost?

Venues we know by heart

Odds are your Austin venue is already on our list. We know the open-air pavilion at Barr Mansion, the street noise that shapes mic placement at The Allan House, and the Hill Country sunset that changes cocktail hour at The Terrace Club.

Your venue isn't on the grid? Check the full Austin venue directory or just ask us.

The questions couples ask on the first call

Austin wedding DJ questions

Austin's busy season runs March through November, and those dates book 8 to 12 months out. October and April go first. Getting married at Barr Mansion, The Allan House or Ma Maison? Lock in your DJ right after you sign with the venue.

A DJ plays music. An MC runs your reception. Every Toast DJ is both, so introductions, toasts, and special dances are handled by the same person reading your dance floor. No separate emcee to hire.

Absolutely. Your music plan includes must-plays, genres you love, and a do-not-play list we take seriously. If the Chicken Dance is banned, it stays banned. Your DJ still reads the room, just inside the lines you set.

Yes, and it costs nothing extra. Ceremony sound, wireless mics and speakers come with every package. Outdoors at The Terrace Club, Canyonwood Ridge or lakeside at Vintage Villas, we sound-check before your guests sit down so every word of your vows carries.

Toast is a company, not a solo operator. If your assigned DJ can't make it, another trained Toast DJ steps in with your music plan, timeline, and venue details already in hand. You'll never be left without a DJ.

We cover the Austin metro and the Hill Country, including Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Pflugerville, Leander, Driftwood, Dripping Springs, Buda, Bee Cave, Lakeway and Marble Falls. Travel within 30 miles of central Austin is included. Going farther? Ask us.

Yes. We schedule planning consultations between you and your assigned Toast DJ, so they hear your music vision from you and build the timeline with you. You'll know your DJ before the day.

Your entertainment director also MCs. You build the music plan together, from the processional to the last dance. Sound is sized to your venue, ceremony audio is free, and your DJ works with your photographer, planner and venue team.

Toast's Austin wedding DJ packages start at $995 for up to four hours of DJ and MC service. Three things move the price: how many hours you need, add-ons like uplighting or extended time, and whether you bundle another service. Platinum is our most popular package. Every price is on the Austin rates page.

The difference is what your night feels like: a flawless ceremony, then a dance floor packed from first song to last, every generation on it, toasts and cues that land, a party that never stalls. And it's worry-free, backups for everything, gear and DJs alike. You get to be a guest at your own wedding, and your guests will talk about it for years.
